Phase 1
The teachers in the training will be in need of guidance and someone to effectively manage the team. As an expert in the field I would communicate the goals and objectives. I would be confident, enthusiastic and directive making sure my goals and expectations are clear. Then I would provide my guidance, assistance and support as the team got started.
Phase 2
As the teachers begin working I will monitor and give feedback where needed. I will clarify decisions and continually motivate and encourage team members on their progress.
Phase 3
The teachers are now very confident and making steady progress. I would then begin rewarding the teachers and would no longer be directing the teachers, due to their ability to progress on their own.
Phase 4
I am observing and monitoring more than leading and instructing. I will also look at the objectives and goals and reflect on worked for me and the team. Making mental notes on time lines, goals, and communication and ways to improve.
